Used to calibrate pressure transdusers (ie. PCB, Kistler, Dynasen)

Pressure capabilities 0 - 30Kpsi, (0 - 2Kbar) in a 0 - 2msec time frame.

40 pound drop weight impacts a plunger in an oil filled reservoiur, energy from the drop weight is transfered into the oil and a pressure is experienced in the oil filled cavity. The test sensors outputs are recorded and compared with an accepted "standard transducer" specified by the contracting organization.

Unit is available for contract work and is used in house for different calibration procedures.
